TERMS & CONDITIONS

Dizzy Feet Events will provide a contact for all bookings made, which will adhere to the following Terms and Conditions.

Definitions.

  • Company. Means D.F Enterprises / Dizzy Feet Events.
  • Client. Means for whom the services of D.F Enterprises have been requested.
  • Fee. means the total sum in sterling plus value-added tax at the current rate.
  • Function. Means the venue at which the event takes place.
  • Terms & Conditions. This means the standard terms set herein and as agreed to in full, on signing the contract.

Facilities.

The client is responsible for a constant 240v 13-amp power supply consisting of 2 x 13-amp sockets within 10 metres of the playing location. Should the electrical supply fail or be cut, the company cannot be held accountable for any reduction in fee.

Payment.

Dizzy Feet Events will be paid via bank transfer seven days before your function date or cash in sterling on arrival. Any deposit paid is non-refundable. VAT is charged at the current rate on the date of payment.

Cancellation Of Contract.

The following charges are made if the contract is cancelled by the client and
will be paid in full at the time of cancellation.

More than 120 days 40% of total fee 90 – 60 days 50% of total fee
60 – 45 days 65% of total fee 45 – 30 days 80% of total fee
35 – 14 days 90% of total fee Less than 14 days 100% of total fee

All cancellations must be made in writing along with the appropriate cancellation fee. The client can only agree that the contract has been
cancelled once receipt of payment of fee has been received by the company.

Equipment Damage and Personal Injury.

The client agrees to reimburse the company for any loss or damage to equipment or personal effects caused by persons connected with or attending the function. Or by a faulty electrical supply. The company cannot be held responsible for any personal injury. The client is responsible for the behaviour of guests attending the event. Should the company feel intimidated or threatened throughout the performance, the company reserves the right to terminate this contracted agreement without any financial refund.

Sickness.

In the unlikely event of the company’s illness, a replacement will be made at no extra charge to the client. In the unlikely event that the branded equipment is unavailable, the company will supply a suitable replacement.

Modification Of Contract.

If the company does not receive the client’s signed copy of the contract within 21 days of the date of issue, the booking can be cancelled on behalf of the company. This cancellation will be made to the client in writing.

Failure To Return Contract.

If the company does not receive the client’s signed copy of the contract within 21 days of the date of issue, the booking can be cancelled on behalf of the company. This cancellation will be made to the client in writing.

Strobe Lighting Effects.

This event may include the use of strobe lighting. If not, it is the client’s responsibility to inform the company in writing before the event.

Governing Law.

If the company commences legal proceedings to enforce any terms, the client hereby agrees to pay the company’s legal costs and disbursements if the company is successful in its enforcement.
